In 2025, applicants were tasked with creating an interactive app playground on the topic of their choice to showcase their passion for coding. Here’s how Paul describes his winning submission.

My project this year is an iPad music sampler. The design philosophy was to capture the feeling of an Apple product—simple, intuitive, and inviting. The goal was to lower the barrier to entry for music production and make the creative process feel joyful from the very first tap. I drew inspiration from both Henri’s and Jared’s amazing projects of ’24. I believe the best projects grow through many passionate minds. I’m excited to see future winners carry the torch.
