In 2024, applicants were tasked with creating an interactive app playground on the topic of their choice to showcase their passion for coding. New for 2024, 50 Distinguished Winners were recognized for their outstanding submissions and invited to Apple in Cupertino. Here’s how Afrah describes her winning submission.
"Fin's Adventure" is an immersive game that challenges players to navigate a fish named Fin through a perilous ocean teeming with plastic pollution. As players guide Fin on his quest for survival, they face the grim reality of human impact on sea life. The game serves as a poignant reminder of environmental issues, inspiring players with its narrative of resilience and hope for a cleaner, safer ocean.
