In 2023, applicants were tasked with creating a Swift Playgrounds app project on the topic of your choice to showcase their passion for coding. Here’s how Wakhid describes his winning submission.
I developed a mobile application named SpeakAR specifically designed to assist individuals who struggle with public speaking. The app leverages the augmented reality capabilities of RealityKit and ARKit to simulate a virtual audience, providing users with a more realistic practice environment. With SpeakAR, users can practice delivering speeches based on preset text, and the app also employs Speech Recognition technology to give users feedback on the accuracy of their spoken words.
