Hi, my name is Arthur and I'm a brazilian computer science undergraduate. I started coding in 2023 after joining the Apple Developer Academy at Porto Alegre, Brazil. I'm passionate about Swift and creating iOS apps!

Scholarships

Arthur has been awarded a WWDC scholarship in 2024. Here is the submission that got them there.

In 2024, applicants were tasked with creating an interactive app playground on the topic of their choice to showcase their passion for coding. New for 2024, 50 Distinguished Winners were recognized for their outstanding submissions and invited to Apple in Cupertino. Here’s how Arthur describes their winning submission.

Tuco-Tuco is an app about wildlife conservation. It's inspired by an animal called tuco-tuco, which lives in the beaches of southern Brazil and was very present in my childhood. I used to spot him digging the sand dunes near the house I spent my summer holidays at. Now, his appearances are rarer due to human presence and habitat loss. So making this app granted me the opportunity to see the tuco-tuco once more and I hope it can raise awareness of all endangered species!
