I'm a computer engineering student, I'm an alumni at the Apple Developer Academy POA, in Brazil and now I study and work on a research project in the university of Stuttgart. I love to program in my free time using Swift, working on games and personal projects. I also love to play piano and paint oil paintings and I bring all these skills to my projects.
Thiago has been awarded a WWDC scholarship two times. Here are the submissions that got him there.
In 2025, applicants were tasked with creating an interactive app playground on the topic of their choice to showcase their passion for coding. Here’s how Thiago describes his winning submission.
Code the Beat is an interactive experience that teaches Swift concepts through music. In five unique levels, users learn variables by playing piano notes, functions with a DJ pad triggering chords, arrays by dragging and ordering chords, loops by repeating sequences, and conditionals by selecting drum beats. Each level includes animations to keep it visually engaging. All art and animations were made in Aseprite, and piano sounds were recorded by me for a personalized touch.
