Here’s how Oli describes his winning submission.

My project was a 2013 take on a tamagotchi. The user was launched into a video of me at rest and could tap buttons to make me move around the screen and perform activities. Video playback was much smoother on the device than on the iOS Simulator, thanks to the embedded hardware h.264 decoder.
